Our Brief:
To create a new garden that matched a stunning new glass extension to a period property.
Our Solution:
A wrap around patio was created with oversized steps to the extension and down to the lower lawn. A tricky corner area was turned into a feature with large, floating millboard steps up to the raised patio. A gravel courtyard garden was updated with a black kitchen area and path down to a beautiful bespoke timber pergola. Original clay bricks from the house that had been reclaimed were reused in herringbone format to form an outdoor 'rug' under the pergola. Grasses surround all elements of the garden adding a dramatic statement and additional screening.
